My Stamping Story

I discovered Stamping when I moved to Houston. I didn't know anyone in this huge city and missed my family. I wanted to be crafty and make birthday cards to send to family. I entered a little privately owned stamp and paper store. The owner, my friend Evie, invited me into the back room and showed me how to use markers to ink up a stamp. The result was beautiful and I was hooked! After about a year she had to go out of business and one of my husband's co-workers saw a card I'd made it at work. She invited me to a Stampin' Up! workshop. I went and loved the catalog full of ideas! I loved how all the colors went together without me having to think to hard about it and I loved the cost effectiveness of buying stamps in sets! Single  quality stamps at craft stores are pricey! I joined a hostess club and after 2 years of that I wanted to teach others and get a bit of a discount.

I have been a demonstrator now for 10 years and love it. I have two hostess clubs. I have met some great people that I wouldn't have without being involved with Stampin' Up! I don't make enough money to stay home but I make enough to pay for all my hobby supplies! There are demonstrators that make enough for a car payment or a house payment each month. There are some that earn full time income by being a demonstrator. It is amazing. This is a business that you can get out what you put into it.

I would love to have you join my team! If you are interested please contact me or check out the link here to find out more about having your own stamping business.
