Just in Case

As I try to get back into blogging I have to be honest. I copy a lot of cards. Sometimes the inspiration just doesn't hit me. Well, luckily, the new Idea Book and Catalog is full of beautiful examples of cards I want to make. In the stamping world this is often called a CASE (Copy And Share Everything).

One of the first cards I wanted to CASE is early in the catalog. It is in the Spanish Catalog too in the new In Color Blush Bride so I made them both. This was the second card we made at the new catalog open house.

And don't these colors look great? Well, using the new Color Coach is very easy. It is a beautiful tool, it is like a paint chip display. The back side of each card suggests color combinations that make card creations easy.

Cardstock: marina mist, blushing bride, crumb cake, old olive and whisper white
Stamps: For all you Do
Accessories: Bird Punch
Ink: versamark, marina mist, blushing bride and old olive

Hydrangea in bloom

Hydrangeas are one of my favorite flowers. I love all the little blooms and the variety of color they contain. That is why I knew I wanted this set from Stampin' Up. It is one of the new level one hostess sets and I was able to get it free with an order of the new colors of ink. (A perk of being a demonstrator!)

I saw a card similar to this one with the top note die used on the edge and wanted to make it too! I had the ladies at my open house make it last week.

Cardstock: basic black, rich razzleberry, whisper white
Ink: celery marker, blushing bride marker and razzleberry marker
accessories: black grosgrain, Top Note Bigz Die, Big Shot Machine, medium oval punch, oval scallop punch
