Where to start? With Beate's Challenge...

It seems like I don't post that often but when I do I have a ton of stuff. So, here is a bit for today. I actually have been making cards the last couple days! It has been great fun. I had my stampin' up class on Monday and have those great cards to share with you too. I needed a red, white and blue card for a swap in my yahoo group, Card Making International and Beate of Fresh & Fun gave a weekend sketch challenge so I combined them and came up with this...
Now, I was totally inspired to make these cards from Maria's blog Stampin' Inspirations. Please visit her and see the beautiful work she does. She is also the QUEEN of tutorials and gives great lessons on lots of things. I used my new Karen Foster Snap stamps for the "celebrate". I sure love those. I'm glad I got them before she discontinued them. I ordered mine and some awesome adhesive from Cindy at My Inky Fingers. The one below is for the CMI swap. I should do another for my secret stamper for my SU group! Too late, I guess she would know it is me! Anyway, hope you like them! See you soon!

For these cards I used:

cardstock: read read, white and brilliant blue

designer paper: DCWV - summer stack

Tools: Marvy giga scallop circle punch, jumbo circle punch, fiskars small hole punch

stamps: SU's Send a Celebration and Karen Foster Snap Stamps (mini casual)

Other: SU's dazzling diamonds and two way glue, prisma color pencils, Coal ink from Ancient page, sakura white gel pen
