Where is the muse?

Well, I was so excited for summer so that I could create some great cards. The blogs I check out are so inspiring and I couldn't wait. Well, a week has gone by and nothing is coming to me. I tried to make the little card keeper I showed you I won with no luck. I have a swap tonight at my stampers 10 and I had to make something. I had to make cards with bold bright paper and at least 1 punch. I had gotten a card from Julie at Paper pleasing ideas and totally copied it for my cards and then I also changed it for a few because I ran out of pink paper. So, the pig card is the one she sent, I made 8 more similar ones and the yellow chick card is my copy of her idea. This was one of the hardest cards ever. How in the world did she get her holes punched in the black so even. I measured and adjusted and it took me forever. She must have had a trick!! And, I paper pierced too, it was my first try, but you can't see my holes really. Sorry my picture didn't turn out too well. I think I am going to do some green ones with cows too. My goal is to make a huge stack of birthday cards this summer. I hope I get inspired by something.

Okay, well, I have been enjoying time with Zoe. We went to the splash pad in our neighborhood today. She is so much fun. Well, she's been a bit moody but it is so great to be home with her.

See you soon!

  2. Well you did a wonderful CASE of the card! I bought the set months ago and I am yet to break it out and use it. Your card inspired me to create a card with that set.

    Wonderful job!
