I was so pleased with myself for the Father's Day card I came up with for my husband. I know that the Bible says Nothing is new under the sun so surely I am not the only one to think of this but I sure love it. Want to know something dumb? I had to make the top part twice because I spelled terrific wrong the first time. How silly is that?
I actually embossed the golf ball with white embossing powder to give it some depth and popped it up. I used the versamark embossing pen.

The paper is DCWV. Funny, as you flip through a stack of paper the ones you think you'll never use. This was one of them. But, I was struck with an idea one day. Probabaly in the shower. That is where the ideas appear! Other supplies were a dollar stamp I picked up long ago, the marvy giga scallop on SU paper and Karen Foster Snap Stamps.

I'll be in Colorado visiting my step-father (the only one I've ever known) this weekend. My husband will get to be there too. That is cool. He wasn't going to travel with us originally. He is sure an awesome daddy. I'm so grateful for him. (I love you honey!) I hope you get to celebrate and encourage the ones you love too!
See you soon!

  2. What a cute golf card! I could always use one of these!
