I just ordered this stamp set because I knew it was retiring and I really like these ladies. So, this is my first card with livin' large. I used DCWV summer stack paper and colored with good ol' crayola pencils and some prisma color pencils. Oh and I water colored her pants to get a color I liked. (My coloring skills need some practice...I know.) I mounted the image on rose red and more mustard, added ribbon from Hobby Lobby to cover the seam and used the ribbon all the way around to tie on the side. I then added some primas just for fun. They need a little rhinestone in the center but that is one embellishment I don't have! Her cake looked so good I had to make some oatmeal scotchie cookies to go with her! Those were sure yummy! I almost for got to make them. We had some drama moving the entertainment hutch downstairs yesterday. I was trying to not let Brett get crushed on the stairs and trying to hurry after Zoe started bleeding while we were busy moving stuff. It was a mini disaster but it all worked out. Brett has a bruise and Zoe got a bitty band aid and we moved on. Now we can watch TV in our crafting office space. It is lovely. If I get it picked up a bit more I'll post some pictures of our new space!
See you soon!
