Great cards from class

This month Jean Wilson was our demonstrator and we made two great cards. I am terrible at remembering the names of the sets we used so if for some reason you need to know let me know and I'll be glad to find out.

We made a nice happy card that could be for a birthday or other celebration and also a little holder with a velcro closure. The sentiment says"happier because of you" does the gum imply, "happier if you'd freshen your breathe?" Tee Hee. No, really, I think it is really cute. I thought Jean did a great job...she always does.
I am really considering being a demonstrator for Stampin' Up. Any opinions on it out there? I just think it would be a nice way to suplement my income - at least pay for my stamping habit! I also love to teach (obviously, I'm a teacher) and it is a fun way to help people have a hobby and it is somthing I love. I guess we'll see. I'd love your opinions.
Well, I would also like to share the cards that the girls from this class made for the swap but I think I'll save them until tomorrow. In the meantime I am moving my stamping space and that is tedious but exciting! Have a great one and See you Soon!

  1. I personally say go for it. I joined back in February and love it. I haven't done any classes or anything yet because I don't know many crafty people here in NY, but between me, my mom, mother-in-law and best friend I get my minimums easily and use the instant income to get my supplies.

  2. I am with Melissa. Go for it. It does support your stamping habit after a while. And if you do workshops and recruit, it might even be enough to make monthly car payments.
It's fun, you get a discount and you will make many friends that way!

  3. Yep, what they said. I've done this for almost 10 years sometimes as a hobby demo, othertimes more as a business. It CAN pay for your habit, make a few payments etc but the friendships are truly priceless.
