Beate's Challenge #5 and Jen's Color Challenge

This is the card I made for Beate's weekend challenge. I mostly like how it turned out. I have seen people cut the flower out from the "looks like spring" set but I did not like how mine looked. Oh well. It was late Saturday night when I finished and I didn't want to redo. Beate does suggest adding a little decorative somthen' somthen' to the outside to hold the card closed. I just saw that today on ther tutorial. I may have to add that. I was also inspired for this card by Jen's challege to use the "bold bright" color family. That was going to be easy until I realized I was out of both pinks! So, I went a different route!
This card used:
paper and ink - gable green, lovely lilac, tempting turquoise, white paper, Ink it Up embossing pad
Stamp set: looks like spring
punch - looks like spring
white embossing powder by stampendous
(stamps, punch and some inks and papers by stampin' up)
